About Me

Hi there, I’m Cammie Hardouin (pronounced ‘KA-mee / ’HARD-win), and my preferred pronouns are she/her. I have library experience in research instruction, readers’ advisory, acquisitions, customer service, and cataloging. This is at AFI, LAPL, Loyola Marymount University, Long Beach City College, Pepperdine University and St. John’s Seminary. As a first-follower (or paraprofessional), I have implemented new technologies, documented procedures, provided reference services, library instruction and led small teams/working groups. My current role is co-chair of the Minnesota Library Association student roundtable. I am an intern at Hennepin County Vital Records. I am looking for a reference or collection development practicum for my final semester of graduate school in Spring 2025.

My research interests include community movements, social science, technology, service leadership and ethics. Above all, I support intellectual freedom and inclusivity. Check out my portfolio and resume if you’re interested.
